The Digit-al Dozen Does Decades: The 40s

Nothing to Disclose

The Digit-al Dozen is back for another fun theme week! This time it's DECADES! So today is The Forties here at Pointless Cafe. I had high aspirations of a great Burma-Shave mani. But life happened and the desire and talent didn't magically appear overnight so I went with a simple mani featuring Betty Boop - one of the "shorts" that, along with Newsreels, you would see before the main feature at a theatre in the forties. She's a bit lop-sided, but I'm making an executive decision and calling it "character."

I used a base of Salon Perfect Sugar Cube with Wet n Wild WildShine Black Creme. I used KBShimmer Low and Be Bold for the eyes, Chanel Dragon for the lips and Illamasqua Stance for the dress.

Be sure and check out the other great manis from the Digit-al Dozen in the links below and HAPPY FRIDAY!
