Um...two words. GIVER'S THEME! You'll see why.
China Glaze
The Giver, Limited Edition Collection
Fall 2014
It’s
time to “Colour Your Destiny” with the bright colors and rich textures of
China Glaze’s exclusive The Giver nail polish collection.
Inspired by the most anticipated movie release of the summer, the collection
combines bold and neutral crèmes, and a gorgeous glitter to create 12 limited
edition shades.
Influenced
by the powerful themes and message of the story, The Giver
collection by China Glaze brings key moments and characters to colour,
particularly the main character Jonas (portrayed by Brendon Thwaites) and his
friend Fiona (portrayed by Odeya Rush) as he struggles to understand the dark,
complex secrets behind his seemingly ideal community. The film will open in
theatres Friday, August 15, 2014.

I'm actually pretty excited about this entire collection! I think I'm most excited about Giver's Theme (naturally), History of the World, Release and Community.

You are so up to date with these things, this is the first announcement I've seen! Your manis & photos are always so good, I will have to see those before I can decide which of these are a must have!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back from your trip. Nice collection-- are any of them matte? because some of them look matte.
ReplyDeleteGiver's Theme looks great and I like Five Rules too. It's just so perfectly neutral.
DeleteI'm not sure! I assume it's just the bottle shots and that they're not matte. But I haven't had a chance to see them in-store and I don't have them to swatch yet.
DeleteI love Lois Lowry and re-read the Giver series regularly. The polish collection is equally impressive. I started listing my faves, but realized I like/want them all except Seeing Red (we all have this color in our collection somewhere) and Capacity to See Beyond.
ReplyDeleteNow, off topic -- I just saw some photos from Cosmoprof 2014 that WPP published. Sheila, the dress you wore for the Indie Polish get together was STUNNING!
Thanks! That dress has to be at least 10 or 15 years old but it's so comfy.
DeleteIs the polish Boundary of Memory a dupe for Rainbow Honey's Oni from the Yokai collection? Can't wait to get these!
