Literary Lacquers LE: To Blossom - Swatches and Review

*This product is Cruelty Free

Today I have a special preview of a special polish. It's a lovely Limited Edition Polish to celebrate Amy's (the creator of Literary Lacquers) Birthday! Her birthday is Sunday and she's created a special polish just for the occasion. Details on how (and when) you can get your hands on this polish, or rather this polish on your nails, at the end of the post.

To Blossom

And this quote was her inspiration...

Continued after the jump...

To Blossom is a complex polish. It's a sort of rose/raspberry base full of holographic micro-glitters and a loose but still linear holo pigment. And I think I'm seeing lavender shimmer as well. It's almost a one-coater but I did use two coats and one coat of top coat for the photos. No issues at all to report. Smooth and creamy application and the micro-glitters are nicely suspended so that it's smooth to the touch - no gritty glitter feeling at all. Lovely.

Full sun...

Indirect natural lighting...

Artificial lighting...

What do you think? I actually really loved it - it catches the light perfectly and is interesting in the sun AND the shade.

This polish will be available only in numbered bottles and for pre-order only from the hours of 5 pm to 7 pm Mountain time (6 pm to 8 pm Central time) on her birthday, Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the Literary Lacquers Etsy Shop here. All orders taken during the pre-order will be shipped by September 1, 2014.

They sold out in  a flash last year so mark your calendars! Set an alarm!
