La Belle Endormie is a vibrant red-toned purple jelly packed with bright gold metallic shimmer. It means Sleeping Beauty, which is one of the nicknames given to the French city of Bordeaux, the wine capital of the world, because its beautiful city center was once covered in black soot from the industrial revolution.

I can't EVEN! This polish is so stunning. I was worried that it would read as near-black because I'm so pale and other darker colors tend to do that, but the way the light penetrates the crelly base and bounces off of the shimmer and micro-flakes/particles really emphasizes the depth of this beauty.
