Tonight I have the upcoming Colors by Llarowe I Love Candy Corn Halloween Trio for 2014 to show you...launching Wednesday, October 1, 2014.

Before I show you though I want to get something straight. I do NOT love candy corn. The waxy, sugary "treat" that is. But the colors are SO Halloween. And I do love Halloween.

The 3 shades in this trio absolutely epitomize Halloween.

Punkin' is a bright spicy orange holographic jelly polish. Because it's a jelly, it starts out really sheer and builds to near-opacity in 3 to 4 coats. No issues with formula or application. Three medium-heavy coats with no top coat for the photos.

What Knockers! is a black crelly/cream base with a ton of silver shimmer and copper flakes. The copper flakes give the polish an overall dark brown appearance combined with the black base, No issues at all with formula or application. Two coats and one coat of top coat for the photos.

And finally, we have Witchipoo. You can't have candy corn without it! Yeah I left it for last because yellows really do hate me. And I've done nothing to them! Honest! But if your skin tone is anything other than bleached flour white with cool tones, this one will probably look great on you.

Witchipoo is a true sheer jelly in a warm golden yellow with a tightly scattered holo. This one actually doesn't hate me as much as some yellows. It pulls the red from my skin a bit in the shade photos, but not as badly as I was expecting. The formula was, as I said, a true jelly. Sheer enough to need 5 coats for opacity on me, but I suspect I'll be doing some jelly sandwich manis or stampwich manis with it. Five coats with no top coat for the photos.

So what do you think? Favorites? I really can't decide between Punkin' and What Knockers! That orange! But THOSE FLAKES!
