Different Dimension
Spooky Spooky Collection
For Halloween 2014
There are 5 new polishes in this collection: a linear holo, a super-squishy jelly shimmer, a glow-in-the-dark, a glitter topper and a micro-glitter. There are way too many photos, but hey, I love Halloween, what can I say?
Continued after the jump...
Well I'm going to start with my favorite of the collection: Thriller. Thriller is Killer. Killa Thrilla. I can't stop typing words.
I mean Vincent Price. C'mon!
"Muwahahahahaaaa. It's great fun...alright."
Thriller is a squishy, violet purple jelly with gold/copper shimmer/micro-flakes. This is a true jelly and the formula is perfect. It's opaque in 3 light coats and great for jelly sandwiches, as you will see later. But first...on its own. Three light coats and no top coat for the photos. I tried artificial light photos, but it just looked blue. But the sun and shade photos show the true color.

Werewolves of London. Okay, I was around in 1978 - almost a teenager. But I'll admit I wasn't into rock. I'm just proud I've HEARD the song. Sometimes I think I slept through the 70s.
Werewolves of London is a pumpkin spice linear holo that'll make you wanna lick your nails. Formula is smooth and easy. No issues at all to report. Two coats and no top coat for the photos.

Monster Mash. Okay, I'll admit to singing this one. Repeatedly. Mainly because if it was cool enough for Boris Karloff, it was cool enough for me!
Monster Mash is a clear-based glitter topper full of circle, hex and triangle glitters as well as star glitters in black, holo and orange and a nice helping of holo shimmer. The glitters are well-suspended and came out of the bottle easily. No fishing at all. One coat and one coat of top coat for all combinations below. First up, over Werewolves of London.

As an accent nail over Thriller...
And in a jelly sandwich with Thriller...

Ghostbusters. Who ya gonna call? Who DIDN'T go around singing that song for like the whole second half of 1984?
Ghostbusters is an almost neon peachy-orange crelly glitter polish that, yep...GLOWS in the dark. I will apologize in advance for not being great at capturing GITD polishes. The formula was smooth and easy. No issues to report. And it's full of iridescent glitters that make it unique to my collection. Two coats and one coat of top coat for the photos.

And my attempt at capturing the glow-in-the-dark properties...it actually glows a bright orange!

And finally, Dragula. I'll admit right up front I've never heard of this, or Rob Zombie. I actually had to google it! Let me just say, don't be fooled by the preview pic in the video!
Dragula is an orange jelly based texture polish full of black and orange holographic micro-glitters. I didn't even realize this was a texture polish so my photos are all with top coat, but I'm sure you will be seeing photos of it without top coat. Check Missi's Instagram for photos of that. I didn't have any issues with the formula. It was opaque in two coats for me, but I did apply the 2nd coat a bit heavier than usual. One coat of top coat for the photos.

EDITED TO ADD: Photos of the textured Dragula without top coat...
What do you think? EPIC Halloween collection in my opinion. You know me, glitters aren't really my personal preference, but I fell "keister over elbow" for Thriller and Werewolves of London. The thing about it is that they ALL had great formula and easy application and I'd totally wear the glitters for Halloween. What are your favorites?
