The Digit-al Dozen Does Florals: Day 1 - Tone on Tone with a Splash!

Nothing to Disclose

It's that time again!!!  Time for Digit-al Dozen Week and this month the prompt is Florals. I have to be honest, I wasn't overly excited about florals, but once I got started it turned out to be my favorite so far!

So here is Day 1: Tone on Tone with a Splash (...of red)

floral nail art

I used Salon Perfect Sugar Cube for the white base and added a bit of Wet n Wild WildShine Black Creme and a sponge to make a grey for a slight gradient. Then I used those same two, and mixtures thereof, for the grass/flowers and weeds. To complete the look, I used Butter London Matte Finish Top Coat. Lastly, I used Kiko #240 for the POP of red. I did it after the matte top coat so it would be the only shiny part.

Be sure and check out all the other great floral manis from the rest of the Digit-al Dozen bunch in the links below!
