Calyx/Lucienne Day-Inspired Nail Art.
Thankfully art is subjective. You either see cocktails or flowers. I went with flowers because, well because I can!
And because the definition of calyx indicates flowers. *grin* But they do sort of look like a 1950s cocktail party gone wrong.
For this mani I used a base of Nails Inc. Foubert's Place with Zoya Tilda, Elevation Polish The Arches and Kiko 240 as well as white and black.

Ahhh, my favorite fabric designer. I actually have some of this yardage that I am eventually going to frame and use. I have a book about her and Robin and love it. I have always seen them as flowers.
