Today I have one of the Exclusives for the March A Box, Indied! This one is Serendipity from Girly Bits! Check with me after the jump for my swatches, review and all the details.
Girly Bits
Serendipity
You know I've been waiting for this theme because St. Patrick's Day is my favorite holiday! What I love about this one is that it's not the green of the Emerald Isle but rather the rainbow and the pot of gold.
The actual theme for this box is "Lucky Charms" and this was her inspiration...
I would totally wear that!
I still think it's the rainbow with the pot of gold at the end though. LOL!
Serendipity means a "fortunate happenstance" or "pleasant surprise" and after hearing "gold glitter" it certainly was a pleasant surprise to find THIS!
Serendipity is a medium bronze holo base with rose and lavender glitters - and it's got my favorite type of holo! When I first saw the description, my limited imagination couldn't conjure anything even close to what appeared on my nail. Which is a pretty good reason, among many, that I don't make polish. The formula was smooth and easy - no issues at all to report. Two coats and one coat of top coat for the photos.
Shade...
And matted so you can see the ingredients better...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
What do you think? You can probably tell already that I really love this one. The medium density holo gets me every time. I couldn't stop staring at my nails and I didn't even think twice about removal (yeah, not generally a glitter fan) when I wore it for a full mani. Just the perfect mix for me.
The theme for March's box is Lucky Charms and in addition to Serendipity from Girly Bits, it will include offerings from Colors by Llarowe, Pahlish, Contrary Polish and Glisten & Glow.
A Box, Indied retails for $50 and will launch February 26th only at Llarowe.com - at Noon and 7pm MST.
