The Digit-al Dozen Does Nature - Day 3 Cosmic Flower

Nothing to Disclose

Today is Day 3 of Nature Week here at The Digit-al Dozen and for today I have a sort of abstract Cosmic Flower for you.

For this mani I used a plain black base (Wet n Wild WildShine Black Creme) and plain acrylic paints. Just sort of looks like some weird thing you'd see from the bridge of the Enterprise - that's pretty, luring them to search out it's origin and then WHAM they're being pulled in to a vortex of some sort, emitting phaser beams from the main photon torpedo tube. Data starts using contractions and Deanna Troi looses her Betazoid powers. Wesley has to figure it all out for them accidentally and they return the odd cosmic flower to a safe zone where it can't hurt anyone.

Check back every day this week for a new Nature mani and be sure to check the links below for all the other creations by the Digit-al Dozen gang!

  1. Star Trek, The Next Generation. That was my favorite cast and crew ever. I had the biggest girl crush on Deanna Troi. And was in love with Jean Luc Picard. That sexy voice, and the fact he was in the power position as Captain of the Enterprise I suppose. Love this mani.
Total nerd girl but hey let your freak flag fly, right?

  2. Trek Girls Foreveh! I do find it (dare I say it?) Fasinating that you're default Trek is TNG. I'm a TOS girl myself. (and I'm using the word 'girl' extremely loosely) But no matter the flavor, Star Trek is great and you should never be ashamed. I spent time thinking about how much the values in ST have effected my personal development with Leonard Nimoy's passing. I think we couldn't ask for a better set of stories, stories that weren't afriad to talk about important things but were still throughly entertaining.
And for what it's worth, your Mani reminds me of the Sun's corona during an eclipse. Thanks for sharing it.

  4. Unlike to many posts when gals are talking Walking Dead, or Dr. Who or a plethera of other shows and movies I've never seen, I can actually relate to your Trek talk! Finally something I'm familiar with!
