Digit-al Dozen Childhood: Fruit Stripe Gum - Day 2

Hi everyone - it's Digit-al Dozen week again! This theme is "Childhood" - well I don't know about YOU GUYS but that was a really looooong time ago for me. But I do have a few memories LOL!

Day 2 is Fruit Stripe Gum. I loved every single thing about this except that the flavor didn't last long enough. I loved the flavor, the smell! I can't smell it to this day without being instantly transported back to age 6. You know, that magical age where you can still get away with shoving all the pieces in your mouth at the same time without TOO much flack from Mom? Yeah.

For this mani, I used Elevation Polish Cuernos del Paine and Mount McKinley and Nails Inc. Warwick Avenue and Sumner Place as the bases with acrylic paints for the rest. Not thrilled with how this one turned out but LOVED the gum.

Check out the other great manis for Childhood from the rest of the Digit-al Dozen gang in the links below and check back every day this week for more!

If you enjoyed this post, please take a second to "like" it! Thanks!

  2. We didn't have that gum up in Canada. At least I don't remember it. Now I wish we did. I loved gum...so much that I almost refused to spit it in the garbage at dinnertime.
