A Box Indied: Reloaded!

December 2015

Hi everyone! Are you ready for the re-launch of the A Box Indied??? Me too! As you may know, things have changed up a bit. They have more things in store for future boxes but the main change is that it's no longer a subscription service.

Every month, on the 1st and 2nd, there will be an open pre-order. Once the pre-order is closed, everyone works to get all orders shipped out over the following week to 2 weeks. So by the 15th of each month all orders will have been dispatched to their new homes.

Swatches for the next box will be available on or before the 23rd of the month prior.

More details about the packaging are forthcoming.

For now, though, I do have swatches of all 5 of the polishes in the first new box!

KBShimmer Bling Out Loud! The bling in this one is so loud that it all but deafened my camera! This is a jelly-based glitter bomb filled with holo glitters. the jelly base is either a black-tinted one or a purple-tinted one - I can't tell for sure because of the rainbow glare! No issues with formula or application. Opaque in two coats with one coat of top coat.

Girly Bits Tubthumping - I haven't had a chance to ask Pam for the story behind the name but when I googled, I got a song and a "vociferous supporter" - what a great name for her first polish in the ABI RELOADED! This one is a blingy, sparkly bronzy gold base full of gold and holo glitters. No issues. Two coats and one coat of top coat for the photos.

Darling Diva Redelicious - this one is a gorgeous shimmer holo polish that looks both red and pink depending on the light and the holo. It's more complex than I was able to capture, having NO sun at all for these photos. I even see a sprinkling of micro-flakes I think! Two coats and one coat of top coat.

Contrary Polish Ch-Ch-Changes - This one totally surprised me because I had swatched it, photographed it and was busy watermarking pics when I looked down and it was a totally different color! It's a thermal! So I took more photos LOL! It's a shimmer polish that is basically a grey however, it has a bit of taupe in it as well, which you can see better in the warmth of the sun photos. I used 3 light coats and one coat of top coat.

Black Cat Lacquer Wine & Dine - this one is a deep burgundy crelly base loaded with various sizes of metallic glitters in pink/magenta/violet/holo...I used two light coats of this one for opacity and one coat of top coat. No issues at all but I recommend light coats and it will build nicely.

And there you have it! The first new A Box Indied!

This box launches for pre-order at Llarowe on December 1st and the pre-order will remain open through December 2nd so that everyone has a chance to order.

The price will still be $50 and the free shipping for the US is still in effect on the Llarowe site.

Because this is essentially a maker collaboration box, like before, and not specifically a Llarowe product, rewards points will not be accrued for ABI.

There is no limit on how many boxes you can order.
