Pahlish November 2015 Duo
The Forbidden Forest Duo
Happy Friday! Today I have a Harry Potter-inspired duo from Pahlish to show you that launches this Sunday, Nov. 8th.
Meet me after the jump for full swatches and review!
First let me just say...a CREME from Pahlish! You guys know I'm an out-of-the-closet creme lover. But I'm picky about formula. This one came as close to practically applying itself than any I have.
Whomping Willow is a rich, deep, somewhat dusty indigo blue creme with a smooth and creamy formula that is perfectly self-leveling. No issues at all. Two light coats and one coat of top coat.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Expecto Patronum is a clear-based glitter topper full of blue/violet shimmer, silver flakes, holographic micro-shimmer and holographic silver circle glitters. Everything is suspended nicely in the base, comes out easily without digging and spreads easily on the nail. No issues. First I did a "glitter gradient" and then I used it for a full mani. One coat over Whomping Willow with one coat of top coat.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What do you think? Blues aren't typically my favorites but I do have a few I use a lot, mainly the darker ones like this and Chanel Blue Rebel-type shades. This one is perfect for my skin tone and I've already worn it twice. The violet sparks in the topper are what make Expecto Patronum special for me.
This duo will be available Sunday, November 8 at 7 pm CST at the Pahlish Big Cartel Shop. Also be sure to follow Pahlish on Facebook and Instagram for more photos and information.
